How to make Neer Dosa

This is an Easy to Make Neer Dosa Recipe. Dosa is commonly made with fermented rice and Urad Dal. But this dosa uses rice, coconut and water instead. Paper thin and soft Neer dosas are made with with rice, coconut and water (in large quantity).

Ingredients for Instant Neer Dosa
Rice - 1 cup
Coconut - 2-3 tbsp (grated)
Oil - 2-3 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp (or as per taste)

How To Make Neer Dosa ?

  • Clean the rice and soak them in water for 2-3 hours.
  • Strain the excess water and place the rice in mixture jar. Also, add coconut as well and make a fine paste.
  • Take out rice and coconut paste in a bowl. Add 1.5 cup water into it and mix well. Make a paste with very thin consistency. Add salt into it and mix well.
  • Heat a non stick pan and spread little oil on it.
  • When the pan is hot ebough stir the batter well and take a laddle full of batter to the pan.
  • Swirl immediately with the spoon. Cover with a lid and cook well.
  • Fold the neer dosa and remove from tawa.
  • Flip over to other side and cook if you need crispy dosa's.
  • Serve hot with your favorite green/ red chutney and tea.
