Garlic Chicken

Garlic chicken
Chicken-1/2 kg 
For marination
Kashmiri chilly powder-2tsp
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
Marinate the chicken with the above ingredients. Let it rest for few mints.

Heat oil in a pot and shallow fry the chicken. Keep aside.

Green chilli-3-4
Tomato-1,blanched and pureed
Capsicum-1/2 of a small capsicum
Corriander leaves
Kashmiri chilli powder-1 tsp
Corriander powder-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/4 tsp
Soya sauce-1tsp 
Tomato sauce-1tbsp
Sugar - a pinch 
For tempering Garlic-10-12 large cloves,cut into JulianButter-1tbsp

Make a paste with onion,ginger garlic and green chillies. Heat 2 tbsp of oil (used for frying the chicken),add capsicum and saute for a while. Transfer to a paper towel. To the same oil add the onion paste and salt,cook till the raw taste disappears(takes 5-10 mints) and it turns golden brown. Add chilli powder,turmeric powder and corriander powder and cook for few mints. Add the tomato puree and cook covered till the oil separates.Add tomato sauce and soya sauce, mix well. Add fried chicken and 1/4-1/2 cup water. Cover and cook till chicken is fully cooked(add more water if needed). Add sauted capsicum,chopped coriander leaves and sprinkle garam masala.
Mix well and remove from the flame. Heat butter add garlic and saute till light golden brown(don't burn it). Pour it on top of the curry,mix well and serve hot.
