Olan thrissur style

Ingredients

Kumbalanga(Ash Gourd)-2 cups(small pieces)
Thick Coconut Milk-1 cup
Water-1/2 cup
Green chilli-2
Curry leaves-1 string
Salt – to taste
Sugar- 1/4 tsp
Coconut Oil -1 tbsp

Method

 Cook Kumbalanga in pressure cooker by adding green chilli ,salt ,curry leaves(2-3) and water .
2-3 whistle is enough .
After cooling down open the cooker and mash the cooked kumbalanga well.
Place the cooker for 1 minute in the stove .
Now add thick coconut milk and sugar(the coconut i used to but here in dubai is that good ,so i used to add sugar )and  mix well.
Remove from the flame .
Check the salt
Finally sprinkle coconut milk and few curry leaves and close the cooker for few minutes before serving .
