Sweet and Sour Pineapple Chicken Recipe

This chicken recipe is with some sweet and sour taste and it will be a good dish along with fried rice or noodles.
Ingredients required for Pineapple Chicken Recipe

450g. boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
1 tsp. al alali Garlic Powder
1 tsp. al alali Ground Ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 can al alali Choice Pineapple Slices, drained
1 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsps. al alali Corn Flour
1 1/2 cups milk prepared from al alali Full Cream Milk Powder
2 tsps. al alali Natural Vinegar
1 green onion sliced

Cooking Instructions

  • Cut chicken into 1 1/2 inch chunks, trimming all fat
  • In a bowl, mix chicken with Garlic Powder, Ground Ginger and salt
  • In a large nonstick pan, melt butter over medium-high heat; sauté chicken in 2 batches
  • Return all chicken with its juice to the pan and add drained al alali Choice Pineapple Slices, brown sugar and soy sauce; bring to a boil
  • Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked
  • Increase heat to medium; mix al alali Corn Flour and milk and gradually add to the pan
  • Cook for 3 minutes or until chicken is cooked and sauce is thick and glossy
  • Add the pineapple juice and al alali Natural Vinegar; cook for 2 minutes
  • Serve and enjoy Pineapple Chicken Recipe with green onions!
