Kerala style chemeen masala

Chemeen (prawns) is a tastier and costly item in the menu card of restuarants. This masala recipe is a tastier one and try it in your home.

Ingredients
Chemeen(prawns) -  1/2 k
Onion                    -  3 no
Tomato                  -  3 no
Green chilly          -   5
Chilly powder        -   2 tsp
Turmeric powder  -  1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Mustard seed         -  1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Water
Coconut oil
Salt to taste
Preparation method
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seed into it. Add the onion and fry. After some time add tomato and saute it. Add curry leaves and green chilly and saute well. Add the chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and saute it. Then add reqd water into it to make the mixture into gravy. Add the chemeen(prawns) and mix well. Cook the prawns by closing the lid for some time. When the prawns get cooked and the gravy get thickened remove it from the stove. Then add the curry leaves and coconut oil and mix. Chemeen masala is ready
